The Founder
Liezel's remarkable journey encompasses a rich tapestry of experiences spanning the performing and visual arts, training, sound engineering, video editing, jewelry design, fashion design, marketing, and entrepreneurial ventures. With an early start in sewing at the tender age of 10, Liezel's innate creativity and drive quickly propelled her towards a trajectory of achievement.
By the time she reached 16, she was already carving her own path to financial independence, showcasing her creations at flea markets and cultivating relationships with boutiques and designers. In her early 20s, Liezel's distinctive corsets and costumes found their way into esteemed fashion circles, gracing modeling agency photoshoots and earning her recognition in print newspaper features.
Throughout the dynamic landscape of the 90s fashion scene in Cape Town, Liezel was a prominent presence at fashion events, simultaneously nurturing her passion for costume and corset design while pursuing a full-time music education. It was during her mid-20s that she recognized the value of formal education, enrolling at what was then known as Cape Technicon. This deliberate step provided her with invaluable insights into industry approaches, ultimately solidifying her confidence to elevate her designs to a new level.
